Prix Le Montrachet 2017

The PRIX LE MONTRACHET has been created by Hôtel Le Montrachet to celebrate the worldwide fame of the white wines from Burgundy and in particular from Côtes de Beaune. And to establish links between the wine growers and the best sommeliers in the world.

It is an annual award given to a sommelier working outside of France to reward his or her expertise and the high quality of their white Burgundy wine list.

The most recent Prizes took place in Switzerland (2010), in Belgium (2011), in London (2012), in Moscow (2013), in Italy (2014), in Los Angeles (2015) and in Germany (2016).

The 2017 one took place in Norway. The winners have received the Prix Le Montrachet Trophy, a certificate, and a three day stay at Hôtel Le Montrachet including meetings with some of the best vignerons of Côte de Beaune.
