Le Montrachet has a 4 star classification. The bedrooms, renovated between 2010 and 2014, are arranged in three levels in reference to the hierarchy of Burgundy wines, 'Village', 'Premier cru' and 'Grand cru'. They are all quiet and have been thoughtfully decorated. All are equipped with quality bed linen and benefit from considerate service.

As of 2013, Le Montrachet also includes the exceptionally well-appointed 'Villa Christine'. A bourgeois house a few steps away from the hotel (but still on the village square); an exclusive setting with its beautiful facade and large garden. Guests there have the use of two 60m2 suites and a 30m2 bedroom.

Le Montrachet proposes a cuisine that is both delicious and refined. The chef, Luc Filoé, is very much in line with the grand tradition of Burgundian gastronomy. Dishes which are made to accompany the best bottles from the region's vineyards.

Luc Filoé, chef, goes straight to the heart of things. The cuisine he adheres to is refined, rigorous and spontaneous. 'I love a dish where the ingredients are shown off to their best advantage. There shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 flavours in a dish. If not, one's senses become overwhelmed and it's important to know what one's eating,' says the chef. He takes immense pleasure in working with local and regional products. For example Charolais beef, Bresse chicken or pike-perch from the Saône. His excellent relationship with an organic vegetable producer in Beaune guarantees a supply of a wide variety of fresh, tasty vegetables.
